Robert LeRay Logan

Robert LeRay Logan was born May 28, 1962, to Clarence and Emily (Paschall) Logan in Springfield. He passed away Feb. 10, 2020, in Kansas City, Kan.
He graduated from Republic High School. He attended college at School of the Ozarks where he learned his love of the fire service by volunteering with the School of the Ozarks Volunteer Fire Department. He received his Emergency Medical Technician license in 1981 and began service at Meadors Funeral Home Ambulance Service in Republic. He received his paramedic license from Metropolitan Community College. He also served in EMS at Bates County EMS, Adair County EMS, Golden Valley EMS, St Louis EMS, and MAST. He served the citizens of Salina with the Salina Fire Dept. He has served the citizens of KCK with the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Dept. for the last 26 years.
Logan loved watching the Kansas City Royals baseball team, even when they were terrible.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Lee Logan. He is survived by his children, Monica Dabbs-Logan, Clarence Logan (Carrie), and David Logan; granddaughter, Kelsey Dabbs-Logan; mother, Emily Logan; siblings, James Logan, Sarah Logan Girth, Katherine Logan Frank (Perry), and Judith Logan Cantrell (Doug); nieces, Jenna and Desiree Cantrell.
