Ronald Kent Jones

Ronald Kent Jones, 80, of Jefferson City passed away April 10, 2022 in St. Mary’s Health Center. He was born June 26, 1941 to Linville and Vivian Land Jones in Everton.

Jones married Elizabeth Annette Toner on July 16, 1994. He was a member of Concord Baptist church in Jefferson City.  He was a U.S. Army veteran. He later worked for the Mo. Department of Agriculture as the assistant director of feed and seed.

Jones is survived by his wife Elizabeth Annette of Jefferson City; sons Kendel Max (Amy Jewel) Jones of West Fork, Ark., and Kerry Ronald (Ashley Nicole) Jones of Fayetteville Ark.; stepdaughter Susan (Josh) Krautkramer of Wray, Colo.; stepson Jim (Nikki) Toner of Grant, Neb.; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; niece Alise (Dan) Mains; nephew Dane Osis; sister Vicki Osis and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 in Ash Grove Cemetery, where he will be buried next to his parents. Services are under the direction of Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
