Ruth Imogene Johnson

Ruth Imogene Johnson, 87, of Bois D'Arc, passed away Feb. 12, 2021 in her home with her husband by her side. She was born Nov. 17, 1933 to Henry and Dora (McGrew) Chilcutt.
She married Harold Johnson May 22, 1953, eventually sharing 67 years together. She was a homemaker and played the organ at church.
She is survived by her husband; son, David (Linda) Johnson; daughters, Pam (Roy) Dillard and Phyllis (Gary) Johnson; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great- grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Wilson of Quincy, Ill. and Bonnie (Al) Hoffman of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Charles Curry and Howard Williams; a great-granddaughter and an unborn baby brother.
Services were Feb. 20, 2021 in Johns Chapel Church. Burial followed in Johns Chapel Cemetery under direction of Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
