Sean F. Carter

Sean F. Carter, 20, of Republic passed away, Friday, Nov. 6, 2020. Carter, the son of Walker Carter and Michelle Carter, was born May 22, 2000 in Lubbock, Texas. Carter is survived by his parents; siblings, Robert Carter and Arianna Williams, Ethan Carter, Evelyn Carter, Nate Carter, Thomas Carter, Matthew Carter; niece, Arya Carter; maternal grandparents, Connie Duncan of Slaton, Texas, Jimmy and Karen Duncan of Lubbock, Texas; paternal grandparents, Sue and Bob Pilla of Anniston, Ala., Ralph and Janice Carter of Abilene, Texas;aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends. Carter graduated from Republic High School in 2018. He then went to basic training in Fort Benning, Ga. and was active in the United States Army National Guard. During high school, he was in the band, played lacrosse and football and was on the wrestling team. He was the goalie for MSU lacrosse team for a short time. Celebration of life services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 at 1999 S. Haseltine Rd, Springfield, MO 65802.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Carter’s name to Wounded Warrior Project and may be left or mailed to the funeral home, Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Ash Grove, MO 65604.
