Severe storms hit Ash Grove

5-inch rainfall floods parts of town, wind leaves wake of damage
While Greene County was the recipient of inches of rain over the weekend, northern Greene County was especially inundated with deluge precipitation. Flash flood warnings covering the entire county ushered in the storm that brought with it high winds and impassable roads. Up to five inches of rain was reported in and around Ash Grove proper, which resulted in flooding at Ash Grove City Park and a closure of North Tower Street.
