Shirley June Vining

Shirley June Vining, 75, Battlefield was born in Maryville and passed away on July 11, 2022.
Although she loved traveling with her beloved husband John, her heart was always in the Ozarks, where for the past 13 years, they settled into their retirement.
Vining was preceded in death by her father Earl “Buck” Freeman; her mother Myrtle Frances Ballinger Freeman and brother William “Bill” Freeman.
Vining is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, John Vining; son Terry Vining; daughter-in-law Patricia Vining; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday July 20, 2022, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
