THEDA DIANE LEIGH

Theda Diane Leigh, 70, of Bois D’Arc, passed away, Monday, Jan. 6, 2020. She was born on Sept. 18, 1949, in Springfield, to Herbert and Theda (Salzman) Steger. On Nov. 26, 1969, Diane and Larry Leigh were united in marriage and shared over
50 years together. Leigh was a devoted wife and
mother of seven. Once her children had grown, she went on to work in labor and delivery at St. John’s Hospital.
Leigh is survived by her husband, Larry Leigh of the home; children, Wesley Leigh and wife Piper, Shannon Holkum, Travis Leigh and wife Shelly, Tyson Leigh and wife Stacie, Justin Leigh and wife Dayna, Brandon Leigh and wife Sharon, Brianna Arnold and husband Adam; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; mother, Theda Keller; sister Juanita Lemons and husband Tom; sister-in-law, Sandy Leigh; step-sister, Marianne Price and husband Jim; step brother, David Keller; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Leigh was preceded in death by her father and step father, George Keller.
Visitation was from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at the funeral home, with burial following in Yeakley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Leigh’s name to American Diabetes Association and may be left at the funeral home.
