THOMAS "TOM" EUGENE DEMANCHE

Thomas “Tom” Eugene Demanche, 71, of Republic, passed away peacefully in his home on Feb. 14, 2023, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Springfield, on Oct. 4, 1951, to Richard and Nancy (Brown) Demanche.

Demanche was raised in Republic, where he resided until his passing. He married Deborah L. Nakano Gold on Sept. 15, 1979. Along with his marriage to Deb came a son, Shane E. Gold and then this union was blessed with another son, Richard S. Demanche. He was involved in the Republic Lions Club and the Wilson’s Creek 150th Anniversary reenactment. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church helping on many different projects as well as being a member of the choir.

Demanche is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Deb; sons Shane Gold and his wife Jacqueline and Richard Demanche; five granddaughters, sister Phyllis Clark and husband Roger; brothers-in-law Terry Nakano and wife Terri and Gail Nakano; one great-grandson and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family and countless friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; twin brothers; father-in-law Stanley Nakano; and mother-in-law June Nakano.
