Travis Klaus Nonn

Travis Klaus Nonn, 37, of Republic, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020. Nonn was the son of Klaus and Connie Nonn and Henry and Lois Sobczak. He was born in Ridgewood, N.J., on Sunday morning at 9:41 a.m. on Oct. 17, 1982.
Nonn graduated from Lincoln Tech in Mahwah, N.J. He served as project manager for SERVPRO of Springfield. He enjoyed many outdoor activities with friends and family including fishing and sport shooting.
His extended family was the Haledon, New Jersey Fire Department, for which he served for 19 years which included the last two as lieutenant.
Nonn was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Albert and Erika Guarnaccia , maternal grandparents Peter and Ruth  Van Slooten.
Nonn is survived by his wife Nicole of Republic and his parents.
A celebration of Nonn’s life was held Friday, May 1, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Lindsey Cemetery, Republic. Graveside services were open to the public.
