Veteran memorial takes shape

Military commemoration coming together in Ash Grove
Detail work has begun on the Phenix Marble donated stones in the median triangle on Walker Street in Ash Grove. The etchings on the larger stones, reading “HONOR DEDICATION VALOR DUTY SACRIFICE SERVICE” are finished, as of last weekend. Still to come are plaques, each representing branches of the military. The plaque work will be done by BJS Trophy Shop around March 18. Once complete, there will be an event held by the city to officially present and dedicate the display. (Photo by Ryan Squibb)
