Willard coach Atchison dies following hunting accident

Willard athletic coach Justin Atchison, 24, died from injuries sustained from a hunting accident the afternoon of Saturday, Nov. 10, north of Cave Spring, off Farm Road 81.
Atchison, a Willard alum and standout athlete, went on to play collegiate baseball at Evangel University. Atchison was an assistant coach for the high school’s baseball and football teams, as well as a coach for a middle school basketball team.
Services for Atchison will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at Crossway Baptist Church, 2900 N. Barnes Avenue.
