ALBERT “AL” MITCHELL

Albert “Al” Mitchell, 86, of Miller, formerly of Ash Grove passed away on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024. He was born on April 14, 1938, in Taney County; the son of Elza and Grace (Thornbrough) Mitchell.
He attended school in Forsyth.
He had four children; Perry, Tony, Lawanna and Galen. He owned and operated Mitchell Machine Shop in Ash Grove.
He is survived by his sons, Perry (Carolyn) Mitchell and Tony Mitchell; daughter, Lawanna Mitchell; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; his brother, Leon Mitchell; his sister, Mildred (Carl) Forgey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Galen Mitchell; grandson, Sammy Mitchell; great-grandson, Kodiac Mitchell and several siblings.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 30, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. He was laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
