ALICE LAVON YOUNG

Alice Lavon Young, 75, of Marionville passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024. She was born on July 19, 1949, in California; the daughter of Bual and Fern (Matney) Funk.
She married Carl Young in 1966, and they shared over 58 years together.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; children: Christy (Terry) Brandkamp, Connie (Wade) Lauderdale and Adam (Kristine) Young; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Teddy and Jeffery Funk; great-granddaughter, Ruthie Sue; and three other sweet babies.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Bible Baptist Church in Ash Grove. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Johns Chapel Cemetery in Ash Grove. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove.
