BARBARA IRENE BROWN

Barbara Irene Brown, 89, of Republic passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at Cox Hospital after a brief illness. She was born June 15, 1935, to Sam and Lois (Kautz) Cornelison.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd (Red) J. Brown on March 5, 1954.
She is survived by her sons, Steve (Tamie) Brown of Springfield and Tom Brown of Republic; daughter, Libby Harris of Springfield; one grandson and his wife; and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Lloyd; her husband, Lloyd (Red) Brown; four brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service was held in Brookline Cemetery on Monday, Sept. 16.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
