Brian Keith Taylor

Brian Keith Taylor, 55, passed away on Sept. 24, 2025. He was known as son, brother, husband, dad, and papa. He was a steadfast follower of Christ and the cornerstone of his family.
Born on Oct. 4, 1969, in Springfield, to Gene Taylor and Phyllis Hall (Taylor). He was raised in Aldrich. A proud graduate of Marion C. Early, he carried his strong work ethic into a 37-year career in welding. Yet his truest passion was on the family farm, where he faithfully stewarded God’s creation and found deep fulfillment in working the land.
His life was defined by his enduring devotion to his faith and his family. He married his beloved Sonya Kay Taylor, and together they raised five children: Tiffany Kay Corum and her husband Tanner, of Aldrich; Keith Elliott Taylor and Hannah Taylor, of Aldrich; Micheal Gene Taylor and his wife Rachel, of Aldrich; Bryant Levi Taylor and his wife Grace, of West Monroe; and Lauren Elizabeth Taylor, of Aldrich. His love extended to his 11 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sonya Kay Taylor; his children; his grandchildren; his mother, Phyllis Hall (Taylor); and his sister, Natalie Gilmore (Taylor). He is also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Taylor, and his grandparents, Keith and Ruth Taylor, and Clyde and Ruth Ross.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Marion C. Early Elementary Ag Department.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. until service time, Sunday, Sept. 28, at Eudora Baptist Church. Funeral services began at 2 p.m., at the church, with burial following at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Homes.
