Carolyn Sue Brock, 82, of Battlefield passed away on March 7, 2024. She was born on Nov. 6, 1941, to Arthur and Mabel (Holman) Zullig in Sampsel, the youngest of four children in the home.
She graduated from Chillicothe High School with the class of 1959 and married Muriel Brock on June 19, 1960. Together they raised three children: Brenda, Kim and Jeff.
She and her husband owned and operated a nursery in Wheeling called Carolyn’s Plants and Hooha’s for many years. She was also an insurance agent with Shelter Insurance.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Muriel; her children, Brenda (Roger) Fletcher, Kim (Bob) Bodine and Jeff Brock; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild as well as other extended family and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Rosemary Perriman, John Zullig and Clara Mae Cooper.
A visitation was held on Monday, March 11, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, March 12, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
