CLIFFORD WAYNE WALTON

Clifford Wayne Walton, 79, of Verona passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025. He was born in San Augustine, Texas on Feb. 28, 1945; the son of Robert and Pearlie (Womack) Walton.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; two sons, Shane (Linda) Walton of Omaha, Ark. and Mark Coan of Marshfield; one daughter, Lori (Eric) Street of Clever; along with nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, John Coan; and one sister, Ann Walton.
A graveside service was held on Monday, Jan. 13, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield with full military honors. Curly Johnson officiated the services.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel in Aurora.
