Deborah “ Debbie” Fern Patton

Deborah “ Debbie” Fern Patton, 64, Republic, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side Jan. 1, 2021. She was born Sept. 10, 1956, to Bobby and Peggy (McWhirter) Blakey in Springfield, the third child of five children in the home.She married Eddie Patton and was blessed to have had four children, Amy, Anthony, Amanda and Austin. Patton is preceded in death by her father and loving husband, Eddie.She is survived by her mother Peggy, children; Amy (Scott) Stewart, Anthony(Becky) Broome, Amanda (Sean) McBee, and Austin Broome, 12 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.A visitation has been scheduled for 10-11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Wade Chapel Cemetery, Republic.The family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Patton.
