Dennis Ray Dickey, 80, of Willard passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2024. He was born July 9, 1943, to Edwin and Elva Dickey in Springfield.
He enjoyed his time working at PFI Western Wear. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and hardly ever missed a game. He raised and rode Missouri Fox Trotters and loved to go trail riding and camping. His family described him as ornery, a talker and The King of the Southern Goodbye.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Kimberly (Charles) Lannan, LaShelle (Shane) McKeown, Stacie (Michael) McGurie, Amanda (Lonnie) Ryker, and Andrea (Stephen) Jean; stepsons, Kenric (Christina) Fulks and Kevin (Susan) Fulks; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Carol Shaw; nieces; nephews; cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Julie Hoffstatter; his brother, Edwin Dickey; and his brother-in-law, Kenneth Shaw.
Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 3, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield.
Arrangements were entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield.
