DOROTHY ANN WOODS

Dorothy Ann Woods, 81, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025. She was born in Lockwood on April 14, 1943; the daughter of Warren Donavon and Gladys (Keck) Johnson.
On Feb. 20, 1965, she married Marvin Woods; they shared over 56 years together before he passed away in 2021.
She was an officer on the PTA and active in the Willard school district.
She is survived by her sons: Dale (Tanya) Woods, Darin (Amanda) Woods and Dareck (Jaydra) Woods; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers: Warren Johnson, Joe Johnson, Brad (Toni) Johnson; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; daughter, Nancy Woods; and parents, Warren and Gladys Johnson.
Services were held on Sunday, March 2, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove with burial at Johns Chapel Cemetery.
