Freda Charlene High

Freda Charlene (Honeycutt) High, 91, Billings, passed away March 3, 2026. She was born Feb. 11, 1935, in Lead Hill, Ark. to Coy Honeycutt and Ethel (Hudson) Honeycutt. In June of 1970, she married Lynn High and together they happily raised their three children. She made a career waitressing in the Republic area. She made many friends working at Ethel's Cafe (her mother’s restaurant) and also at Browns Country Kitchen. Her loving and caring personality of serving others came through not only at work but at home. She had the biggest heart and always made sure everyone was taken care of. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening/canning, embroidery, reading and going on car rides.
 
She is survived by her children; daughter, Vicky Hagler, Republic; two sons, Stanley Sekscinski, Terry Sekscinski and wife Cathy all of Billings; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lynn of 55 years; parents; two brothers, Russell Honeycutt and William Honeycutt; two sisters, Dixie Seitz and Cathy Jo Honeycutt; a grandson and granddaughter; son-in-law, Bruce Hagler; daughter-in-law, Margaret Sekscinski.
 
Family received friends and relatives from 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral ervice, on Monday, March 9, at Meadors Funeral Home in Billings. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Brittany Scaringello. High will be laid to rest next to her husband in Wade Chapel Cemetery in Republic following her funeral services.
