GARY W. DAVIS

Gary W. Davis, 81, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.  He was born in Springfield on Aug. 30. 1942, the son of Elmer S. Davis and Frances L. Willis Davis.
He was a member of IBEW, Local 1553.
He is survived by his sons, Mike (Julie) Davis of Republic and Shawn Davis of Billings; his daughter, Angela Davis (Tom Hightower) of Marshfield; seven grandchildren; as well as two nephews and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald and James Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 3, in Gorman Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with the Rev. Matt Cullum officiating.  Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.  No visitation is scheduled, however friends may call from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
