GEORGIA LEE FERWALT
Georgia Lee Ferwalt, 82, of Everton passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024. She was born in Anderson on June 6, 1942; the daughter of Samuel Chester Jackson and Vivian (Hickman) Jackson.
She was raised in Kansas City where she met the love of her life, Harry Ferwalt and they were stationed in several different locations while he was enlisted in the Marines. They eventually settled in Everton where together they raised three children. They also owned and operated Razor Sharp Knives service in Bass Pro for 28 years.
She is survived by her sons, Rick (Shelli) Ferwalt and Tommy (Tessa) Ferwalt of Ash Grove; her daughter, Julie (Michael) Douty of Everton; her sister-in-law, Cathy Jackson of Everton; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three more on the way; as well as her nieces and nephews and two great-nieces and a great-nephew on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry; two infant sons, Stephen Michael and James Joseph; two brothers, Billy Jackson and Jimmy Jackson; one sister, Annabelle (Jackson) Curtis; and one grandson, Cody Ferwalt.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove followed by funeral services at noon and burial to follow at Sinking Creek Cemetery.
