Highway dedicated in memoriam of Moore, killed in 1983

The city of Willard hosted a ceremony at Willard City Hall Monday, Nov. 22, to dedicate the Otis E. Moore Memorial Highway. About 60 people attended the event, which included remarks from U.S. Representative Billy Long and Missouri Governor Mike Parson. The Otis E. Moore Memorial Highway is a portion of U.S. Highway 160 from West Bypass to County Road 115; it was renamed in honor of Otis Moore, of Everton, who was killed in an auto accident Dec. 1, 1983, on Highway 160 in Willard.
