IVAN STEWART

Ivan Stewart, 89, of Republic passed away on Oct. 24, 2024. He was born in Farmington on Dec. 3 1934; the son of Charles and Mayme (Eaves) Stewart.
On June 3, 1955, he married Reva Mooneyham, and they shared 69 years together
He owned and operated Ivan Stewart Excavating in and around Republic for over 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Reva; daughter, Renee (Ketan) Desai; son, Ryan (Sandy) Stewart; three grandchildren; sister, Emogene Cassy; as well as other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Stephen Mark Stewart; and his brothers: Hobart, Horace and Hardy Stewart.
Services were held on Monday, Oct. 28, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic and he was laid to rest in Wade Chapel Cemetery.
