JAMES DARRELL GROVES

James Darrell Groves, 74, of Billings passed away on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024. He was born on Oct. 1, 1949 at Burge Hospital in Springfield, the youngest of two children born to Jack and Emma Groves.
He spent his early childhood in Springfield until moving to the family farm in 1954. He attended Billings school until he graduated in 1967.
He married Judy on Aug. 15,1970. They raised two children and were married for 52 years.
He is survived by his grandson, Jimmy Jo Yarberry and brother, Lonnie Groves, as well as numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his forever beloved wife, Judy Groves; his parents; and both of his children, Jennifer Stanley and Jeremy Groves.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
