JAMES JUNIOR COMPTON

James Junior Compton, 86, of Walnut Grove passed away on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024. He was born in Dadeville on Dec. 18, 1938; the son of Dalton and Aggie (Gray) Compton.
He grew up in the Dadeville area, moving to Marshall with his new wife, Marilyn when he was 18.
He worked at Banquet Foods for 20 years and then moved to the Walnut Grove area. He then began working in HVAC with neighbor and friend, Don Yarberry.
Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 2, at Wheeler Cemetery in Walnut Grove.
