JAMES MARTIN TIETZE

James Martin Tietze, 66, of Springfield passed away on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024. He was born in Texas on Friday, June 13, 1958; the son of Frances and Ruth Tietze.
After graduating from high school, he worked for Empire Foods and retired with them after 32 years.
In 1999, he married Gyneanna Roy in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, Gyneanna; one son, Donald McGhee; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mary, Karen and Janelle; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joe Tietze.
Services were held on Friday, Oct. 11, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Scotty Killingsworth officiating.
