JIM E. HAWK

Jim E. Hawk, 86, of Walnut Grove passed away, Monday, March 18, 2024. He was born on his family farm on Sunday, Aug. 29, 1937, to Walt and Avaline “Granny” (Looney) Hawk in Walnut Grove.
On Aug. 3, 1973, he married the love of his life, Bernice. They were married for 50 years, 7 months, and 15 days.
He was a member of the Christian Church all of his life and served as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Presley Bolin-Hawk; two sons, Wendall (Linda) Bolin and Dennis (Gay) Bolin; daughter, Ronda; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Danny (Janet) Hawk; several nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Leah, Rachel, and Blanche; and four brothers, Lawrence, Bill, Bob, and Ralph.  
Visitation and funeral services were held on Monday, March 25, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Walnut Grove. Burial followed at Greene Lawn Cemetery in Walnut Grove.
