John M. Litchford

John M. Litchford, 34, of Ash Grove, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026. He was born Nov. 22, 1991, in Fort Smith, Ark. to Jim and Sharon (Farmer) Litchford.
 
He was a man who loved the Lord deeply and lived his faith in the way he treated others. His love for Jesus shaped his life and guided his words, which were always thoughtful, articulate and intentional. He had a special love for his family, especially his brothers, and cherished the bond they shared.
 
A 2010 graduate of  Ash Grove High School, he was known for his many talents and vibrant personality. He played for and loved representing the Ash Grove Pirates.  He was exceptionally gifted in art and writing, had a beautiful singing voice, and carried a deep love for music. He also had a passion for sports and was a devoted fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys. 
 
He had a natural ability to captivate a room. Funny and well-spoken, he was often the life of the party, drawing people in with his warmth and quick wit. More than anything, he loved helping others. He had a servant’s heart and a genuine way of making people feel seen, heard and valued. His presence was unforgettable, and his words will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
 
He is survived by his parents, Jim Litchford and Sharon Litchford; brothers, Brandon Ruckman and wife TaSha, Heath Ruckman and wife Tabitha; nieces and nephews, Xander, Chole, Sterling, Erika, Kennady, Nycolas, Alli, JaSha, Olivia, Carsyn, Liam; great-niece, Deja; grandmother, Sandra Farmer; other family, and friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Vennie Litchford and James F. Farmer.
Visitation was from 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2025.
