KIRA DANIELLE WESTMAN

Kira Danielle Westman 21, of Republic passed away on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, following a 21 year battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was born in Springfield on Aug. 19, 2003; the daughter of Jeremy Westman and Crystal Plevka.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Deckard; love of her life, Tristin Deckard; parents: Crystal Plevka and Jeremy and Tracy Westman; grandparents: Sandy Westman, Juli Baker, Bonnie Jones and Sam Peak; great-grandmother, Rhoda Schey; siblings: Abby Kennedy, Taylor (Tyler) Byrne, Logan (Kara) Westman, Logan (Meisha) Wiseman, Wynter Creson, Leo Westman, K’Leauna Westman, Azalea Westman, and Cole Gilyon; seven nephews; one niece; aunts and uncles: Sabrina Lutz, Shannon Lutz, Ericka Lutz, Sam Peak Jr., Tristan (Autumn) McDonald and Angie (Dean) Powers; special birthday cousin, Kadin Powers; as well as other cousins, family members, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Nita and Dale Westman.
Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. The family request that everyone wear purple in honor of her battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
