KRISTIN SUSANNE SCOTT

Kristin Susanne Scott, 56, of Lawrence, Kan. passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Springfield, on Aug. 16, 1967 to Max and Jacqueline Scott.
She graduated from Willard High School and Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in business.  After graduation she moved to Washington D.C. and worked at the National Geographic Society and for the Committee for Research and Exploration.  She returned to Springfield to obtain her master’s degree then moved to Lawrence, Kan. where she worked for the University of Kansas.
She is survived by her mother, Jacqueline of Springfield; her sister, Kimberly (Jamie) Scott; two nieces; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 26, at ReNew United Methodist Church in Willard. Burial followed at Hazelwood Cemetery in Springfield.
