LARRY RAYMOND COX

Larry Raymond Cox, 76, of Republic passed away Jan. 26, 2024, in Springfield. He was born on Feb. 21, 1947 in Salina, Kan., to Raymond Dale Cox and Lois Darlene (Schroeder) Cox.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, and after college, he spent his time as a truck driver on long hauls and doing odd jobs here and there.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Irene (Flores) Cox; his son, Brent; his daughter, Joy; and three grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later time.
His arrangements have been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory in Springfield.
