LINDA LEE MALLORY

Linda Lee Mallory, 85, of Everton passed away on Thursday, Feb 15, 2024. She  was born Feb. 28, 1938, to Albert and Bernice (Simmons) Coble in Everton.
On July 21, 1972, she married Kenneth Mallory and they shared 42 years together before his passing in 2014.
She was a lifelong area resident and began her career at Everton School District before graduating high school, even signing her own diploma.  She went on to Draughon’s Business College and then back to Everton School District where she retired after 46-years. She was the secretary for the Superintendent and School Board, along with bookkeeping. She was a member of Everton First Baptist Church, a member of Jolly Homemakers Club, and an avid Republican.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Farnham; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Don Myers; nieces, nephews; other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Mallory; daughters, Darla Ash and Carla Parnell; son-in-law, Rick Farnham; siblings, Dorothy O’Kelly, Maxine Myers, and Gordon Coble; and sister-in-law, Lois Edwards.
Visitation was held on Monday, Feb.19, and funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove with burial at Greene Lawn Cemetery.
