MARJORIE MOORE

Marjorie Moore, 94, of Battlefield passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025. She was born in Springfield on Aug. 11, 1930; one of eight children born to Lester and Lena (Bonner) Creach.
She graduated from high school in Macks Creek in 1948.
On Jan. 19, 1952, she married Kenneth Moore. She worked as a telephone operator for the majority of her career, having worked for Southwest Bell for 38 years until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelley Meyer and Shauna (Tim) Merideth; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews as well as other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Kenneth, and all seven of her siblings.
Graveside services were held on Feb. 28, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
