MARSHA VAUGHN TAYLOR

Marsha Vaughn Taylor, 82, passed away on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, with her daughter by her side. She was born on Oct. 17, 1942, to William and Betye Medley in Charleston, W.Va.
She grew up in Charleston and went to Stonewall Jackson High School. She earned her degree as a medical technician at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston, then worked at and retired from St. Francis Hospital.
She is survived by her brothers, William (Susan) Medley and Rick (Sondra) Medley; daughter, Tiffany Woolley; two great-grandchildren; her step-grandson and his wife; two step-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Mark Ray Taylor and Timothy Stephen Taylor; her granddaughter, Stacia Vaughn Barnett; and her niece Stephanie Anna Medley.
Services were held on Friday, Nov. 22, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic, burial followed at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
