MARY L. MEAD

Mary L. Mead, 59, of Everton passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024. She was born on June 11, 1964, to Robert “Mac” and Juila (Glenn) McKenney in Clarksville, Tenn.
On Jan. 9, 1981, she married Ronnie Mead; they shared over 18 years together, before his passing in 1999.  
She was a long time area resident. She graduated from SMSU in 1997 and began her career as a probation and parole officer. She retired in March of 2022 after serving for over 25 years.
She is survived by her children, Tina (Cody) Stacey, Donnie (Candice) Mead, Jason Mead and Mark (Shae McCloud) Mead; nine grandchildren; mother, Juila McKenny; sisters, Bobbie Lilly and Keri Letson; nieces, nephews; other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie, and her father.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Ash Grove Cemetery in Ash Grove.
