MICKEY JOE MAPLES

Mickey Joe Maples, 81, of Republic passed away on May 22, 2024. He was born on April 8, 1943, in Springfield; one of four children born to Byron and Filettes (Little) Maples.
He graduated from Clever High School in 1961. He worked for 33 years as a plant manager at Solid State Circuit from 1968 until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of Abou Ben Adhem Masonic Lodge as well as a Shriner.
He is survived by his sister, Becky Pearce; two nephews, Lance (Regina) Pearce and Shawn Pearce; a niece, Christina (Mike) Strohm; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, a close friend Kay Elliott and other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Carolyn Maples; and a brother, Jerry Maples.
The family will be holding services privately.
