NANCY J. (WYNES) INGRAM

Nancy J. (Wynes) Ingram, 93, of Ash Grove passed away on Dec. 28, 2024. She was born in Stockton on Oct. 10, 1931; the daughter of Raymond and Neva Wynes.
She first married Lano Pursley, with whom she had five children: Michael, Lanna, Ruth, Neva, and David Pursley. After her divorce from him she married John Kirkland and they shared 25 years together before his passing. Later in life, she married Roger Ingram, who also preceded her in death. Following his passing, she moved to Ash Grove where she has lived for the past 25 years.
She was a volunteer with the Red Cross in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. She also served as a Sunday School teacher and a Boy Scout den mother. Professionally, she retired from J.C. Penney after a fulfilling career.
She is survived by her daughters: Lanna (Chuck) Bernard, Ruth Reuter and Neva (Steve) Comer; seven grandchildren; her bonus children: Barb (Kevin) Kroenert, John (Connie) Kirkland, David Kirkland and Penni Wood; as well as  11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; her sister, Janice Reed and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Pursley and David Pursley; stepson, Mike Kirkland; her brother, Bill Wynes; and her beloved husbands, John Kirkland and Roger Ingram.
Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 2, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove. Burial followed at Stockton Cemetery.
