Natalie Hollender

Natalie Hollender, 90, of Republic passed away peacefully on Oct. 29, 2025. She was born in Chicago, Ill. In 1954, she married the love of her life, Frank Hollender, and together they raised three children in Blue Island, Ill. In 1978, they moved to Anaheim Hills, Calif., where she lived for more than four decades before relocating to Republic in 2020 to be closer to family.
She had an energetic spirit and a love for life that never faded. She enjoyed shopping, dining out, and was always on the go—living every day to the fullest. In recent years, she especially cherished her time at the Republic Senior Center, where she made new friends and remained active in the community.
She is survived by her three children: Judy Vellegas, Craig (Wendy) Hollender, and Scott (Raquel) Hollender; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Hollender; her mother, Ruth Bergbauer; and her brother, Donald Fredette.
Private services will be held.
