NORMA “NADINE” DAVIS

Norma “Nadine” Davis, 92, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, at Jacob’s Ladder in Springfield. She was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Sparks, Okla.; the daughter of Francis and Dolly Frances (Quinn) Ivens.
On April 18, 1951, she married James Eugene Davis in Minden, Nev. They were married for 68 years before he passed away on June 25, 2019.
She and her husband, James, were the owner/operators of the Dynamic Roofing Company in Sacramento, Calif., that they started in 1972. They were also missionaries to Mexico since 1984 and members of the Galloway Full Gospel Church in Springfield.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Hansen of Sacramento, Calif. and Pamela Bussey of Springfield; three sisters: Ramona Karakas of New Castle, Calif., Scharleene Sheley and Patsy Bennett both of Springfield; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; her grandson, Shawn Bussey and her son-in-law, Lance Bussey.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
