NORMA JEAN EUBANKS

Norma Jean Eubanks, 85, of Republic passed away on Sept. 9, 2024. She was born on Jan. 14, 1939, in Corsicana; the daughter of Newt and Lucille (Aderhold) Bates.
She graduated from Wheaton High School with the class of 1957. She worked in the manufacturing departments of Sweetheart Cup, French’s and Stocker Meats. She was a longtime member of Wheaton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Martie (Nova) Eubanks and Tony Eubanks; seven grandchildren; a very special “Bosom Buddy” friend, Kay Lombard; as well as other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Frances Serge.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Sept. 13, in Purdy Cemetery. Pastor Scott Mitchell officiated the services under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
