REBECCA “BECKY” S. RAMSEY

Rebecca “Becky” S. Ramsey, 67, of Republic passed away on Nov. 15, 2024. She was born in Ash Grove on April 19, 1957; the daughter of Treacil and Martha Myers.
She married Mark Ramsey, on Sept. 11, 1982, and they shared 42 years together. The couple moved to Republic 38 years ago, where they built their forever home in the woods.
Before becoming a full-time mom, she worked as a lab technician for several years. Later, she held the title of assistant librarian at Republic High School for nearly 20 years which allowed her to share her love of reading and learning with students.
A long time member of Hood United Methodist Church, she found strength and fellowship within her church community, where she built lasting friendships and deepened her faith.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; their children, Trent (Jacque), Cale (Brittany), Shana (Jason), and Kyra (Shane); six grandchildren; and her sister, Pam Bayless.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bruce Gene Myers.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Wesley Methodist Church. Burial followed at Lindsey Cemetery in Republic.
