SANDRA J. SLONECKER

Sandra J. Slonecker, 78, of Republic passed away on Feb. 3, 2024, at Mercy Hospital. She was born on April 28, 1945, to Sanford and Elinor Bales in Fort Smith, Ark.
She graduated from Nevada High School.
She was united in marriage to Rick Slonecker on Nov. 8, 1972, in Springfield.
She started her own company Sundown Creations, and worked as a secretary in the medical field for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Dale) Glendenning and Lori (Andy) Smith; three stepdaughters, Wanna, Deb, and Cheri; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick; her parents; and two great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be at a later date.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
