SHERRY ANN WHITTENBERG

Sherry Ann Whittenberg, 84, of Walnut Grove passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024. She was born on Nov. 14, 1939, in Springfield; the daughter of John Cox and Pauline Miles. She was raised by her grandparents, Clyde and Myrtle Miles.
On Oct. 4, 1974, she married Gary Whittenberg and they shared over 49 years together.
She was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by her husband, Gary; her children, Debbie Whittenberg, Kari Whittenberg and Jeff Unterzuber; six grandchildren; sister, Glenda (J.C.) Ford; other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and daughters, Cyndi Reeves and Tina Burch.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, Sept. 19, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Willard.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove.
