Shirley Ann Nachtrab

Shirley Ann Nachtrab of Republic, passed away peacefully Nov. 20, 2020 at the age of 89. She was born on July 17, 1931 in Sheboygan, Wisc., to Victor and Elizabeth (Belt) Williams.Nachtrab married Donald Nachtrab on Oct. 15, 1949, and this union was blessed with four sons: Jerry, David, Jack and Dale. The family moved frequently throughout the years because of Don’s job, but no matter where they lived, Shirley somehow managed to make a home that made her family feel comfortable, happy and loved. Nachtrab loved bowling with her friends in her younger years and was even in a league. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Don, son Jack, and all six siblings.She is survived by her sons, Jerry and wife Sue, David and wife Melinda, and Dale and wife Caroline, daughter-in-law Sylvia, seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends. A private graveside service was held Dec. 1, 2020.
