Stephen Gene Farmer

Stephen Gene Farmer was born on July 18, 1992 in Springfield, to Roy Gene Farmer and Teresa Jo (Harrison) Farmer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his parents. He was survived by his loving wife, Emily (Duff) Farmer and many friends and family.
He attended school in Republic. He went to college at OTC, Missouri State and then onto Spartan College in Tulsa, Okla. While attending Missouri State, he was an active member of the Phi Mu Alpha fraternity, which was very important to him.
He married Emily Farmer on Aug. 12, 2017. He enjoyed spending time with Emily and Rusty. They enjoyed watching movies together and going to Disney World. He really enjoyed airplanes and music. He played the drums all through high school in college so music was a very big part of his life.
He and Emily got rebaptized on Sept. 17, 2025. He was a deacon at Westside Christian Church. He was a devout Christian, always willing to help anyone in need.
He always was the life of the party and made everyone laugh and smile. He really enjoyed game nights with his friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
He passed away peacefully at home with his wife Emily by his side on Oct. 19, 2025. He was surrounded by friends and family as well as the support from his church family, after a long hard, tough battle with cancer.
