THOMAS F. HUTTON

Thomas F. Hutton, 80, of Republic passed away on Dec. 18, 2024. He was born in Santa Paula, Calif. on July 26, 1944; the son of Alva and Lucy (Beckett) Hutton.
He enlisted in the US Marines in 1963, and honorably served his country for over 10 years, to include wartime service in Vietnam. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his dedicated service.
On May 2, 1970, he married Patricia (Lawrence) and they shared 52 years together before she passed away on Feb. 17, 2023.
He worked as a Milk Manufacturer/Processor for Foremost Dairy and then for Hiland Dairy, where he spent 13 years, until his retirement. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Billings and was very active with the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry.
He is survived by his daughter, Peggy (Paul) Komadina; sons, Brandon and Bryan Hutton; a very special neighbor, Riley Rhea; as well as numerous grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents; and a grandson, Benjamin Komadina.
A visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8,at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Billings. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
