Tommie Lee Melton

Tommie Lee Melton, 75, Kimberling City, died on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at
her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1945 in Greenville, S.C., the daughter of Tommy
Sosebee and Eddie Carrie Lee Cox. At a young age her family moved to the
Springfield area as part of the Ozark’s Jubilee where her father performed.
She was a retired accountant/tax preparer.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Askren and husband Ray of
Kimberling City. She has three siblings: Linda Brashear and husband Larry of
Springfield, Sylivia Fratt and husband Tom of Branson West, and brother Eddy
Sosebee of Walnut Grove; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Melton.
A celebration of life visitation for Melton was from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15,
2020 at Greenlawn Funeral Home-Branson. The arrangements and cremation
are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home.
