Unie Everett Langley

Unie Everett (Letts) Langley, 83, Clever, passed away
Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at her home with her family by
her side. She was born Nov. 15, 1937 in Hurley, to Everett
and Thelma (Saltkill) Letts.
On March 2, 1959, she married Floyd Langley in Bolivar.
They were married 61 years.
She spent her time working on the farm and worked at a
restaurant in Crane. Her favorite thing to do was to cook
Sunday dinner for her family. She dearly loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Wilma
Gold and Juanita Lassiter, brother Bud Letts, and one
great-grandson Chandler Hancock.
She is survived by her husband Floyd; daughters Debbie
(Jeff) Langley, Peggy (Donnie) Wolfe; sons Teddy (Rhonda)
Langley, Jimmy (Mitzi) Langley, eight grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
A visitation was from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 in
Meadors Funeral Home, Clever, with services held at 2
p.m. Burial followed in Short Cemetery in Hurley.
